What a great experience! We are all confronted daily with reminders of the lost art of customer care, so when we experience “service” and “care” which goes above and beyond it really sticks out in our minds. My mother has Dementia and had damaged her hearing aides recently. I can’t describe how much more difficult it is to manage a dementia patient who cannot hear. Unfortunately, the location that I used to bring her to has closed, so we went to this Port Washington location. When I explained what had happened to Jody and Dr. Sophia, they informed me that my mother’s insurance was no longer accepted by the organization, but they still wanted to help me given the difficult circumstances. This isn’t just great customer service this is incredible human kindness. They repaired my mother’s hearing aides while we chatted and shared pleasant conversation. I didn’t even know that she was repairing the units while we were talking. I thought she was prepping them to be shipped for warranty repair/replacement. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciated this kind and helpful gesture. All I can say is no customer service program will deliver this type of care, without wonderful, caring, human beings delivering it. Thank you ladies, our neighbors will no longer being disturbed by my mother’s TV and it was truly a pleasure sharing time with you. I HIGHLY recommend this business and location.

I am a retired Internist/geriatrician. I’ve used hearing aids for well over ten years (I am 98). My visit was for a hearing test and evaluation. Dr. Behrmann administered the test, then brought the parameters on my existing hearing aids up to date, repaired defects in the existing aids without being asked. I’m extremely satisfied with the entire experience. We were scheduled for a visit within a few hours on a Friday and had no waiting time once arrived in the office. The staff in the office are extremely friendly and helpful. They are absolutely professional and know the product we were trying to fix. It took me several years in order to get up enough courage to admit to myself that I was losing my hearing. I have always been a avid lover of music … all types. I have also enjoyed the privilege of running a school district for most of my career and communicating effectly with students, staff and parents was critically important to me. Hearing was a very important part of this communication. As I aged hearing all that was being said to me was beginning to diminish.

Through the intelligent, sensitive and intuitive encouragement and support from Aviva I decided that addressing my hearing loss made sense for me.

Working with Cindy, an experienced and knowledgeable audiologist I was tested for the specific hearing deficiencies. I was impressed with both the depth and breath of the examination. Once the test results were studied and analyzed I was introduced to my hearing supports …. I call them that because unlike the aids that my father and others had years ago, mine are practically invisible, highly intelligent and intuitive micro computers that work independent of each other in order to enhance my hearing ability! From the moment I put them in my ears they made a world of difference in my hearing.

I am thrilled about having them and for having very competent caring and involved people like Aviva working to continue to teach me how these mini miracles can change my life from constantly asking people to repeat themselves to hearing like I did in my 20ies. No more having to feel embraced about not hearing what was being said to me the first time around and asking for it to be repeated. No more being embarrassed.

I highly endorse my new hearing supports and the wonderful people behind them! They are making a big difference for me…. Finally!
