FAQs About I Love Hearing Audiology and Hearing Aid Specialists
How many locations does I Love Hearing have?
At I Love Hearing Inc., we operate several locations across Nassau County and Long Island. Click here for a full list of our locations, their hours, and their contact info.
What makes I Love Hearing different from other hearing aid fitting facilities?
We aren’t tied to any single hearing aid manufacturer, so unlike many other hearing aid fitting facilities, our hearing care providers offer fittings for most hearing aid brands. We also operate on a “try it before you buy it” policy through which, unlike most other fitting facilities, you can try your hearing aid before paying for it. With five locations in NYC, Nassau County, and Long Island, our goal is to make audiology services accessible to everyone in the New York metropolitan area.
Can I try the hearing aids before I commit to them?
Yes! At I Love Hearing, you can always try it before you buy it. We only require payment upon your long-term commitment to a hearing aid, while many other hearing aid providers require payment for a trial period.
Which hearing aid brands are offered at I Love Hearing?
We sell the following hearing aid brands: Widex, Starkey, Oticon, Sonic Innovations, Phonak, GN / Resound, Signia, Siemens, and more!
We also repair the following hearing aid and hearing protection brands:
Hearing aids: Rexton, Bernafon, Hansaton, SeboTek, Miracle Ear, AGX /Audigy
Hearing protection: Westone, Microsonic
What’s the hearing aid fitting process like?
At I Love Hearing, our hearing aid specialists begin the hearing aid fitting process by checking for comfort. Once you’re comfortable with how your hearing aid is positioned, our specialists then adjust your device’s settings for optimal results. Then, with your hearing aid fitted, our specialists will re-test your hearing and make final adjustments based on the results.

What is the difference between an audiologist and a hearing aid specialist?
An audiologist is a specialist with an advanced degree who works with those suffering from ear infections, balance problems, or hearing loss. Hearing aid specialists, who do not require advanced degrees, only work with those experiencing hearing loss.
Is there anyone whom I Love Hearing will not test for hearing loss?
No. People of all ages and backgrounds can experience hearing loss. Whether you’re looking for hearing testing or hearing aids for yourself or a loved one, we can help diagnose hearing loss and devise a treatment plan.
Which insurance does I Love Hearing accept?
We participate in and accept most insurances. Contact us for more details.
