Clinical Audiologist
Dr. Sophia Behrmann, graduated with Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Linguistics from Hunter College, and went on to obtain her doctorate in Audiology from the Long Island Consortium, specifically Hofstra University. Dr. Behrmann has had a long-standing passion for audiology and helping people, going back to her time as the Student Academy of Audiology president. She holds her license as both a Doctor of Audiology and a Hearing Aid Dispenser. She has expertise in the diagnostics and fitting of the adult population with amplification, as well as hearing conservation programs, counseling and aural rehabilitation. She also leads our monthly hearing aid workshop.
